Tooth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discolourations in the teeth. The system uses a mild peroxide gel retained in a custom-fitted tray that is worn over your teeth for 1-2 hours a day.
What causes tooth discolouration??

Who can benefit from tooth whitening?
MOST PEOPLE can benefit from tooth whitening. However, there are some cases where the treatment may be inappropriate or ineffective. Your dentist will determine if you are a viable candidate for the treatment and this is one of the reasons tooth whitening should never be provided by someone who is not a dental care professional.
IS IT SAFE??
YES!! When carried out by a trained dental professional clinical studies indicate that whitening teeth with hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide is safe for teeth and gums. How long does it take?
On average 10-14 days, but the trays do not need to be worn overnight.
In cases of very dark teeth, it can take longer and your dentist will advise you of this.
Are there any side effects?
Some people temporarily get increased sensitivity which disappears a few days after carrying out the treatment.
