Sports Guards
Our ethos at The Courtyard Clinic is that prevention is better than cure. Injuries can end up causing irreversible damage to your teeth and not to mention the cost of dental care and time spent getting dental treatment after an injury too.
If you or your child plays any contact sport, please do give us a call to discuss getting a custom made sports guard that has proper shock absorbing technology.

How do sports mouth guards work?
Mouth guards work by moving soft tissue in the mouth away from the teeth, preventing laceration and wounding of the lips and cheeks. Also there is a significantly reduced force from the lower jaw colliding into the upper jaw if a mouth guard is in situ causing less stress on the teeth, jaw and neck.
Custom Made mouth guards
At The Courtyard Clinic we take impressions of the teeth which is then sent to our lab to make your custom-made guard by skilled technicians. These customised mouthguards provide the best security, fit and comfort level because it is made from a mould to specifically fit your teeth. We also ensure the material used is high quality to optimally withstand traumatic forces.
What makes us different?
Here at The Courtyard Clinic we don’t just make top quality guards but we can also make them fun too! Ask us for any colour, pattern, glitter etc. and we will see what we can do!
Accidents can happen so if you or someone you know has been affected by dental trauma we can help with the after effects.
