Porcelain Veneers at The courtyard clinic

Transform your smile with natural looking, ultra-thin, state of the art veneers. We will aim to preserve as much natural tooth tissue as possible with minimal preparations.

Why Have Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain Veneers

To restore broken or fractured teeth

Correct spacing between teeth

Improve poor shape to teeth

Improve the colour of your teeth

Correct small tooth rotations

Not many people are born with a perfect smile, don’t live with imperfections when porcelain can give you the smile you have always wished for

What Is Involved?

Porcelain Veneers
At the initial consultation we listen to your wishes. If veneers are suitable for you, we will do a smile design to plan the shapes of your new teeth together and aim to get this design transferred into your mouth.
1
Smile design scan using our iTero digital scanner.
2
Review of your smile over email, the phone or at the clinic.
3
Preparation day: we will ensure anaesthetic is placed carefully so you don’t feel the procedure. Kick back and watch Netflix.
4
Small preparations are placed on each tooth to be veneered.
5
We will trial your new veneer shapes using your digitally printed smile design. From this your temporaries are made using a pre-formed stent of the pre-planned veneers. Any adjustments we can make during this trial phase to your final veneers.
6
Fit day is 2 weeks later as the veneers are hand made in the dental laboratory and we want to give you a few days to trial your new smile.

Types of Veneers We Offer

Porcelain Veneers

The Courtyard Clinic offers the top variety of veneers. Veneers can be made with different materials, providing different benefits, our expertise allows us to tailor the right design and material type for you.

Porcelain veneers

Handcrafted by our carefully selected dental laboratories, ultra-thin porcelain veneers offer a natural look.

Loomineers

Ultra-thin (approx. 0.2 mm) custom-made shells that are translucent, making them look very close to the appearance of natural tooth enamel.

Zirconia veneers

Zirconia is porcelain that contains around 90% zirconium oxide forming one of the strongest and most durable veneers on the market. These can be used where strength is of high importance.

No prep veneers

Some teeth are naturally worn down or thin enough to allow no prep porcelain veneers (no shaving of the tooth at all!). In this case no anaesthetic is required, and a simple impression can be taken.

Why our veneer process is different

Artistic Detailing

Each veneer is hand-made and sculpted to perfection. Detailing is paramount: translucency, shape, size, texture, gloss, colour, tailored to suit your bone structure and style.

Customised Process

From start to finish your journey is tailored to you. You are fully informed and we only do the final unit placement when we are all content with the outcome.

Lifelike

Our technicians have many years of experience and can provide patients with natural looking results where the veneers mimic the anatomy of the tooth, the bite is also made to feel normal.

Wafer-thin

Our lab technician makes ultra-thin veneers which when bonded on the tooth looks like a natural tooth and does not have a “bulky”, artificial appearance.

Why choose us?

We have been placing cosmetic porcelain veneers at the clinic for many years with a top rated reputation for this treatment throughout Surrey and London.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Roughly 15 years. Some may last longer.

What is the difference between composite veneers and porcelain veneers?

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers roughly last x3 times longer than composite veneers, meaning they are a bigger commitment but are convenient.

Composite veneers make teeth slightly thicker, whilst porcelain veneers fit into the teeth.

Composite veneers need more maintenance.

Composite veneers are placed in x1 sitting vs porcelain veneers in x2 sittings.

Composite veneers are removable, porcelain veneers would need to be replaced.

Composites you can be more selective with i.e., just use the material to fill in gaps or add to the edges of the teeth to create a beautiful silhouette to the tooth.

Composite is weaker than porcelain.

Composite is easier to fix if problems arise.

Composite veneers are cheaper than porcelain veneers.
